There are three main themes you will realize about Black White Gray.
The first is a comfort in knowing I will always have the wardrobe basics – the tried-and-true classics - here for you. I know we all love to see a new, beautiful and eye-catching trend each season, but we also know that those trends are not meant to last long. Looking back across my life, those outfits and pieces of clothing that stood the test of time and remain classic across decades are the styles I believe every woman should have in her closet to be able to easily and confidently go back to time and time again to create gorgeous looks. And, I believe these pieces of clothing are here on the site for you!
The second is a respect for American-made clothing and accessories. I am proud to be part of a family history that emigrated to the U.S in search of job opportunities. People across the globe are still seeking the potential that America has to offer its citizens and I am exhilarated in buying merchandise that is a part of this process.
The third is a dedication to attempting to be mindful of the fashion industry’s effect on the planet AND the people who are making the clothing. I believe that all of the brands that are on the site come from manufacturers that do all within their power to be truly sustainable and environmentally responsible. And, that they treat their employees as they should be treated by paying them living-wages and providing them with respectable working conditions. Where our clothing comes from and who is making it has a direct impact on its price. When something seems so cheap that it’s too good to be true, it is. You get what you pay for here and on every other website or store.
